On being (more) Bonnie Raitt

A woman with red hair, reminiscent of Bonnie Raitt, is playing a guitar and singing into a microphone on stage.

I have to share something from last night that stirred me deeply. I was at the Bonnie Raitt concert, and it hit me—Bonnie embodies what it means to keep reinventing yourself while staying true to who you are. She’s lived a life dedicated to music, but what struck me most is how she has evolved without ever losing her authenticity.

In Human Design, Bonnie is a 4/6 Splenic Projector. This means she learns deeply through her relationships and experiences and makes decisions instinctively, trusting the moment. Watching her up there, I realized that reinvention isn’t about becoming someone else; it’s about leaning deeper into who we already are—just like Bonnie has done over the decades.

I felt a profound pull to keep stripping away the layers that no longer serve me and step into my next version. And maybe you’re feeling that too—the need to reclaim your own path, evolve, and realign.

Some ideas for channeling your inner Bonnie:

1. Trust Your Instincts: Like Bonnie’s Splenic intuition, trust your gut. It knows.

2. Value Relationships: Let the people in your life shape you, but only if they lift you higher.

3. Embrace Evolution: Reinvention is becoming more of who you already are, not someone new.

4. Stay Rooted: Stay connected to your purpose. It’ll guide you through every shift.

If you’re ready to explore your own reinvention and live more in alignment, let’s dive into your Human Design. It’ll help you trust yourself more and move forward with clarity and purpose.

My greatest joy is shining a light on the strengths and abilities of others, allowing them to move forward with purpose and intention and without hesitation by understanding and embracing who they really are.
